Support

For help with Bible in Your Day, open Settings → Report a problem or email [email protected]. Describe what happened, what you expected, and how to make it happen again. The in-app report includes your app version, build, iOS version and device model, and nothing else. You can read and change the email before it is sent; avoid sending private notes or chats unless you choose to share them.

Supported devices

Bible in Your Day runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 18.0 or later: iPhone XS, XS Max, XR and every later iPhone (including iPhone SE 2nd generation and later, and iPhone Duo), iPad (7th generation and later), iPad mini (5th generation and later), iPad Air (3rd generation and later), and every iPad Pro with Face ID.

Signing in

Bible Chat needs a sign-in with Apple or Google, so your chats are saved for you. Reading, Discover lessons and search work without one. Signing in also keeps your notes, highlights, saved verses and reading progress in your account so they come with you to a new device. If sign-in fails, check your connection and try again, or email us.

Bible Chat

Bible Chat finds the topic closest to your question and shows that topic’s reviewed answer one passage at a time. Answers are prepared ahead of time from Scripture and named public-domain commentaries, drafted with AI help and checked and reviewed before they reach you. No AI model writes replies as you use the app: your question is matched on your device and is not sent anywhere to be answered. When no topic is close, Chat shows the Scripture passages a search of the Bible finds instead.

Answers can still be wrong. Read the passage in context, weigh everything against Scripture itself, and see our safety page. Nothing in the app replaces your local church or pastor.

Discover lessons

Free readers can start one lesson a day. Plus opens every lesson in every theme. A lesson plays the passage, then Biblical meaning and Apply it, then pauses and offers Try this, Reflect on this and Historical context. Lessons are narrated and keep playing with the screen locked.

Plus, restoring and refunds

Plus ($2.99 a month or $19.99 a year in the US) unlocks every lesson instead of one a day, removes ads, and backs up your saved chats to your account. Prices are shown in the app and charged by Apple to your Apple Account. The subscription renews monthly or yearly unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.

To restore a purchase or manage the subscription, open Settings → Manage Plus. For a refund or any other purchase problem, open Settings → Problem with a purchase. Apple handles refunds, and you can also use reportaproblem.apple.com. Restoring brings back Plus access; sign in to your account to get backed-up chats on a new device. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription: cancel it in your Apple Account settings.

Saved chats

Signed-in chats are saved on your device; turn this off in Settings → Save chat history. Saved chats may be included in Apple device backups. Existing saved chats stay readable if Plus ends. Use Settings → Export my data before deleting the app if you want another copy.

Downloads

Some translations and the Study library download when you choose them, and you pick Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi and cellular first. The first lesson of each theme comes with the app. Other lessons, and other voices, download when you play them, after you agree once: only the voice and translation you chose, about 1.7 MB each, and they then work offline. Change this in Lesson settings (Ask before downloading lessons), and remove downloads in Settings → Discover (Study library and Lessons).

Ads

Free readers may see a labeled sponsored card in Bible Chat. Bible reading never shows ads, and Plus removes them. Ads are not personalized with your questions, notes or reading. If a consent message is shown, you can change your choice later in Settings → Ad privacy choices.

Deleting your data or account

Settings → Your data → Delete my personal data removes your notes, journal, saves, highlights, chats and reading history. Settings → Account → Delete account and cloud data deletes your account and its cloud records after you confirm with Apple or Google. See our privacy policy.
